HARBOR GRACE
" I love how Harbor Grace cares for their patients." - Wanda Hickman

What is Hospice?
Hospice is a special kind of medical, emotional, & spiritual care. If someone you love has an incurable illness, & treatment can no longer keep the illness under control, there are still things you can do. Even when life cannot be prolonged, comfort & symptom management can virtually always be provided, & hospice aims to do just that. Hospice is usually delivered in your home because that is where most people want to be in their final months. Hospice comes to you. Hospice can also be delivered in a nursing home, in a personal care home, or other similar facilities where your loved one lives. When your loved one joins hospice, you will get regular visits from our team, & you will have access to care 24 hours a day. Sometimes loved ones are too sick to stay home. That is why we have a beautiful facility where your loved one can get round-the-clock care. The hospice philosophy is not just for your loved one. A team of com- passionate professionals will help, support, & advise you at every step. There is almost always something that can be done to improve the quality of life for those approaching death. That’s what hospice does. Hospice aims to provide comfort & dignity for your loved one, & peace of mind for you & your family.
"The staff at Harbor Grace has a wonderful way or making you feel like family." - Kim Wilson
