Harbor Grace Hospice’s 22-bed Inpatient Unit is located in downtown Atlanta, across from Atlanta Medical Center. Since its opening in 2010, it has earned a reputation of excellence throughout the hospice and healthcare communities. Patients admitted to the Inpatient Unit have acute needs including pain 

management, shortness of breath, or other symptoms that cannot be managed in a private home setting. Our facility is staffed around the clock with on-site and on-call licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, chaplains, social workers, and volunteers to meet every patients’ needs.

Medicare regulations require that all hospices provide inpatient care for short periods of acute symptom management that cannot be managed in any other setting. Hospices without their own Inpatient Unit achieve compliance by contracting with us. We consider it an honor and a privilege to serve all of our patients and their families at challenging times in their lives, either at home or in our Inpatient Facility.
